Arrow Risk Management (Arrow), the specialist MGA underwriting platform, has today announced the establishment of its Marine Insurance Practice with the appointment of Wayne Krause as Underwriting Practice Leader.
The new practice will focus primarily on Marine Cargo and Logistics related risks, with a broader marine offering including Stock Throughput, Project Cargo & Delay in Start-up (DSU), and Logistics Operators / Freight Forwarders Liability.
The practice will underwrite business on a global basis, leveraging London Market expertise and international trading relationships to support SME, mid-market and larger corporate clients across complex supply chains and multiple territories.
Wayne Krause is a highly experienced marine insurance executive with more than 30 years’ experience across underwriting and broking within the international marine insurance market. His experience spans the London Market, North America, Europe and Southern Africa, having held senior underwriting and leadership roles with Hollard Marine, Marsh, Tokio Marine Kiln, Zurich Financial Services and Aviva Global Corporate & Specialty.
Business will be written on the Arrow MGA platform – the Arrow Hub – benefiting from its best-in-class operational infrastructure, specialist underwriting support and carrier data capabilities.
